The platform is launching new Shopping product stickers to make it easy for viewers to know that the products being used in the Short are shoppable.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new stickers could be a way for creators to increase their earnings. During its testing last month, YouTube found that Shorts with Shopping product stickers saw over 40% more clicks on products than Shorts with the Shopping button, it said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, tagged products were displayed in a banner in the bottom-left corner of Shorts with a Shopping button. Clicking the banner opened a list of products available for viewers to browse and shop. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"680\" width=\"680\" src=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/unnamed.gif?w=680\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3019865\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><span class=\"wp-block-image__credits\"><strong>Image Credits:<\/strong>YouTube<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, creators can tag products in their Short to automatically generate a sticker based on the first product they tagged. They can then adjust the size and placement of the sticker.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When multiple products are tagged in a Short, viewers can tap on the downward arrow on the sticker to see the full list of products. Once they click on a product they\u2019re interested in, they\u2019ll be redirected to the retailer\u2019s website for that product.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shopping product stickers are being rolled out over the next week and will be available globally, expect in South Korea, but YouTube plans to launch the feature there soon. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">YouTube CEO Neal Mohan revealed at Cannes Lions 2025 that Shorts are now averaging more than <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.youtube\/news-and-events\/neal-mohan-cannes-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">200 billion daily views<\/a>.
