\n Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez brought her French bulldog Deco to work on Capitol Hill Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The progressive darling revealed that she had brought her furry friend with her to work in pair of Instagram stories.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, one perk of being a member of Congress is that you set your own puppy policies,\u201d Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said before turning the screen to her loyal companion, \u201cSo in a time of Covid and self-isolation, I get to bring a friend with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a second story, Deco was pictured sitting on a leather chair in what app<\/a>eared to be AOC\u2019s Congressional office.<\/p>\n

\u201cDeco says we need to pass a second stimulus check, state & local funding for schools, expanded unemployment insurance and guaranteed healthcare. That\u2019s why he\u2019s my policy pup extraordinaire,\u201d she quipped in a blurb under the one-year-old Frenchie.<\/p>\n

The New York Congresswoman took her puppy home in January.<\/p>\n

At the time, she had tweeted that her goal was to \u201ctrain him to be a community pup. Ideally we want to work to the point where he can enjoy town halls, be an Amtrak pup, come to the office, etc.\u201d<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s not clear how often she brings the precious pooch into the office with her, Deco has been pictured both in and outside of the Capitol building \u2014 with familiar faces like fellow \u201cSquad\u201d member Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) and lesser known names, like Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s longtime boyfriend Riley Roberts.<\/p>\n

Deco is not the only French bulldog who has captured the hearts of \u201cThe Squad,\u201d however.<\/p>\n

Aziz, a fellow Frenchie, is a regular face in Rep. Rashida Tlaib\u2019s (D-Mich.) office and frequently poses with the \u201cSquad\u201d member.<\/p>\n

Aziz\u2019s owner could not immedia<\/a>tely be identified, however the Instagram account linked to the pup appears to be run by a woman. In a rare post featuring Aziz and both his owners, who were getting married in the photo, the bulldog referred to the bride and groom as his \u201cmommy and daddy.\u201d<\/p>\n

When a user commented that they thought Tlaib was Aziz\u2019s owner, the Michigan Democrat replied that she was the dog\u2019s \u201cfavorite auntie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tlaib is a big fan of the pooch, who describes himself in his Instagram bio as \u201ca progressive French Bulldog chewing my way through life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Squad\u201d member has posted numerous pictures of the four-legged friend on her Instagram, even taking him out of her office at the start of this year and with her to the House Rules Committee.<\/p>\n

Aziz\u2019s first order of business, Tlaib quipped, was that \u201call amendments related to dogs are germane.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Tlaib and Aziz are clearly close, she appears to be more of a cat person when it comes to her own pets.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the Michigan Congresswoman declined to respond to The Post\u2019s request for comment on if Aziz\u2019s owner was on her staff.<\/p>\n

It is not immediately clear if Aziz and Deco have had any run-ins during their Capitol Hill walks.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
