Cynthia Lummis said she expects the CLARITY Act and GENIUS Act to pass through Congress and be ready for the president\u2019s signature by the end of the year.<\/p>\n

Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis said she expects Congress to pass two pieces of crypto legislation related to stablecoins and market structure \u201cbefore the end of this calendar year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking at the Bitcoin Policy Summit in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, Lummis discussed<\/a> the progress of the Digital Asset Market Clarity, or CLARITY Act, in the House of Representatives and the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for US Stablecoins, or GENIUS Act, in the Senate. <\/p>\n

Lummis said she would be \u201cextremely disapp<\/a>ointed\u201d if the two bills did not pass through Congress by 2026.<\/p>\n
