Diddy has declined to take the stand to give evidence in his own sex trafficking trial.<\/p>\n

After the prosecution rested their case against the Bad Boy Records boss, Diddy stood up to confirm that he would not be giving evidence to support his not guilty plea.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs it your decision not to testify in this case?\u201d the judge asked Diddy to which he replied: \u201cThat is my decision, your honor. It is solely my decision.\u201d<\/p>\n

Diddy and his legal team also rested their defense without calling any witnesses.<\/p>\n

Closing arguments are set to take place tomorrow (June 26) with the case then proceeding to jury deliberation.<\/p>\n

Diddy faces up to life in prison if he is convicted.<\/p>\n

It has been speculated that Diddy will receive a presidential pardon from Donald Trump in the event that he is convicted.<\/p>\n

Trump initially said he would \u201cconsider\u201d a pardon for Diddy after having a \u201clook at the facts\u201d.<\/p>\n

Suge Knight has also admitted he is very confident that Diddy\u00a0will escape prison by app<\/a>ealing to Trump.<\/p>\n

The currently incarcerated Death Row Records co-founder was speaking to\u00a0News<\/a>Nation<\/em>\u00a0about his longtime enemy\u2019s current trial.<\/p>\n

During the interview, Suge said: \u201cI think he\u2019s got some favors with the government. I think they\u2019re gonna show him a little leeway. It might not seem like it when it\u2019s all said and done, but I don\u2019t think he has nothing to worry about, and I don\u2019t think he\u2019s worried because he\u2019s gonna be federal, and if he gets convicted, Trump\u2019s gonna pardon him.\u201d<\/p>\n

The controversial rap mogul added: \u201cI still feel that Puffy is going to be alright and have a fair shot at it. He\u2019s not a not a dummy. And I\u2019m quite sure somebody going to talk to those jurors and convince one or two of them that\u2019s all you need, is one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Knight has also opined that he does not believe Diddy should go to prison\u00a0at all.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI say this all the time, Puffy and I are not friends, but Puffy should definitely walk free.\u201d<\/p>\n

Suge added: \u201cThe most important thing is that it was other executives that was involved in Puff\u2019s life. And for Puffy to be the only guy that gets on the stand is a sad day for Hip Hop.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
