Praying for Puff and his family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Chicago native has\u00a0also suggested Cassie was looking to extort Diddy\u00a0with her allegations against her ex-boyfriend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDid Cassie extort Puff?\u201d he wrote on X back in February.<\/p>\n<p>West also went on to defend Diddy\u2019s assault of Cassie in a hotel corridor, the footage of which was leaked to the press.<\/p>\n<p>After calling for the disgraced record executive to be released from jail, West claimed that his 2016 assault was merely an act of \u201ctrue love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen [a] man truly loves a [woman] he may express it in rage.
