{"id":677635,"date":"2025-06-28T03:45:17","date_gmt":"2025-06-28T00:45:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/scott-storch-claims-the-roots-are-haters\/"},"modified":"2025-06-28T03:45:17","modified_gmt":"2025-06-28T00:45:17","slug":"scott-storch-claims-the-roots-are-haters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/scott-storch-claims-the-roots-are-haters\/","title":{"rendered":"Scott Storch Claims The Roots Are &#039;Haters&#039;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"body-copy js-entry-text \" itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n<p>Scott Storch has hit out at The Roots, claiming the group were \u201chaters\u201d after he began working with Dr. Dre.<\/p>\n<p>Storch, who was a member of the Philadelphia rap group between 1993 and 1995 and made contributions to several albums afterwards, discussed his history with Questlove and co with controversial podcaster Patrick Bet-David.<\/p>\n<p>The producer explained: \u201cI started in The Roots and did a lot of the stuff for them, very under<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>reciated. I was the guy who, again, came up with a lot of the nucleus of what that shit was. And I left the group and was told that I was, like, the Pete Best of The Roots. You know, Pete Best is the guy that quit The Beatles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Storch continued: \u201cEven my girlfriend broke up with me and said, \u2018Oh, you fucked up\u2019 and this and that. I was like, \u2018No, I didn\u2019t. I\u2019m a coke addict and he\u2019s a crack addict, and I\u2019m trying to help him. I\u2019m like, \u2018[Snorts coke] you really need to get clean, man.\u2019 What the fuck? I\u2019m like, \u2018You need to go to rehab.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo I convince him to avoid a jail sentencing for a charge he had or whatever. He went to rehab and was getting his shit together at a place where I had gone, but it didn\u2019t really work for me. I had him there, I really did care about him, I wanted him off that shit.
