DAN DA DAN<\/em> Season 2 has premiered, bringing with it not just the continuation of the current arc but new, entertaining opening and ending animations that have been officially released on YouTube<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The MicAOz<\/strong>-storyboarded and unit-directed opening may not be as outrageous as its predecessor, but its first-person viewpoints and panels still bring a sense of fun and inventiveness. These are boosted by the animation \u2014 which feel less restrained than what\u2019s general<\/a>ly seen in the series<\/a> itself \u2014 and cool visual moments like that striking sunset walk that transitions into a kintama shot.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the ending (storyboarded, unit-directed, solo-key animated, and more by Komugiko2000<\/strong>) has its own sense of freedom with its character drawings, and also delivers rotating shots and one of this writer\u2019s favorite things in the world: (good) 2D dance animation.<\/span><\/p>\n
