\n\tIf Emmy forecasters are correct, Chris Perfetti and the rest of the Abbott Elementary<\/em> family will be making some red carpet rounds in coming months. And he\u2019s ready. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIn our fourth year of being invited to these things, I still feel it\u2019s less daunting and way more fun than it was the first time,\u201d the actor told The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> last week while attending the Mediterrane Film Festival\u2019s closing Golden Bee Awards in Malta. \u201cBut I still feel like I have a responsibility to live up to the bigger purpose of what we\u2019re all there for, and so I try to pay homage and be polite, but I try to express myself at the same time, and I\u2019ve always thought that fashion is a way to do just that \u2014 to tell a story.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPerfetti has been doing just that, turning heads for expressing an eye-catching personal style, evidence of which is seen below. The riskier the better, he says. \u201cI kind of err on the side of more risk taking than not. [The red carpet] feels like a great opportunity for that. I\u2019ve been blessed with so many talented geniuses, and when you find somebody whose work inspires you like that, you just have to kind of go with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile speaking to THR<\/em> in Malta, who presented at the Golden Bee Awards alongside Anna Camp, Perfetti was nearing the end of his Abbott Elementary<\/em> hiatus and prepping to head back to work on the series<\/a> for an upcoming season five. \u201cI\u2019m so proud of what we did in season four. I really feel like we didn\u2019t drop the ball. God bless our writer\u2019s room, they\u2019re really doing so well by us,\u201d explained the actor. \u201cOur cast, we genuinely love each other, and we\u2019re trying to make each other laugh. We really just blew the lid off of it last year.\u201d <\/p>\n
