House Speaker Mike Johnson says he\u2019ll look to move forward with three crypto bills on Wednesday after some Republican lawmakers pulled support over wanting a CBDC ban.<\/p>\n

The US House is set to try to move forward three crypto bills again on Wednesday after canning a re-vote on Tuesday as multiple Republican lawmakers pulled support, wanting to add a ban on central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).<\/p>\n

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson said he hopes to try to pass a procedural vote for the bills on Wednesday, adding it\u2019s \u201ca priority of the White House, the Senate and the House to do all of these crypto bills,\u201d Politico reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Some Republicans wanted the stablecoin-regulating GENIUS Act amended or bundled in with two other crypto bills up for a vote this week \u2014 the CBDC-banning Anti-CBDC Surveillance Act and a sweeping crypto market structure bill dubbed the CLARITY Act.<\/p>\n
