A TV anime<\/a> adaptation of Yuhiro Tsujitsugu<\/strong>\u2018s <\/span>Snowball Earth<\/em> manga will premiere in 2026.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Studio Kai<\/strong> is the animation production studio for the adaptation. The staff credits include:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Snowball Earth<\/em> manga started serialization in Shogakukan\u2019s Monthly Big Comic Spirits in 2021, after receiving Spirits Award in 2019, and will release its ninth volume on July 30, 2025 JST. <\/span>Viz Media<\/a> describes the premise as:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yukio was destroyed in battle and Tetsuo survived in an escape pod. After eight years in cold sleep, the escape pod finally lands back on Earth. But when Tetsuo emerges he finds a world in ruins, entirely frozen beneath a blanket of ice and snow\u2014snowball Earth! What happ<\/a>ened to humanity, how did the planet freeze over, and will Tetsuo be able to keep his last promise to Yukio?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
