It was also announced that a preview screening event will take place on September 6 JST.<\/span><\/p>\n

My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero\u2019s<\/em> is set to begin airing in October. It is based on the Overlap Bunko series<\/a> written by\u00a0Matsuri Akai<\/strong>\u00a0and illustrated by\u00a0Tozai<\/strong>, which debuted in November 2017 and has four volumes as of 2021. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the premise as:<\/span><\/p>\n

Oda Akira is the kind of guy who people forget is even there. His unassuming nature pays off, though, when his entire class is swept away to a fantasy world, and he slips easily into his new role as a silent assassin.
