The \u201cpsychedelic cyber-noir\u201d anime film will be released theatrically by the two companies sometime in 2026.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">The sequel film will have its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal, Canada, which takes place from July 16, 2025 to August 3, 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A trailer for <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tamala 2030: A Punk Cat in Dark <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">was also released and is available with English subtitles (which can be accessed by clicking the \u201cCC\u201d caption button on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a>).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"TAMALA 2030 Trailer\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9aGtYAp2Ec0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">The new license announcement marks the first co-acquisition between Brooklyn-based animation production company Cartuna and distributor Deaf Crocodile.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tamala 2030: A Punk Cat in Dark <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">is directed by creative duo <\/span><b>t.o.L <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(consisting of <\/span><b>K. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><b>kuno<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">), who directed and wrote the screenplay for <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tamala 2010: A Punk Cat in Space<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which first premiered in Japan on October 19, 2002. They, along with <\/span><b>Kentaro Nemoto<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, also worked on the character designs and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tamala 2010<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, with Nemoto handling the film\u2019s 2D animation.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Deaf Crocodile released <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tamala 2010: A Punk Cat in Space<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on home video last October.
