\n\tSony\u2019s unscript<\/a>ed studio Maxine Productions is adding to its executive team.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnneka Jones has been named executive vp development and current at Maxine, whose productions include ID\u2019s Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV<\/em> and Prime Video\u2019s Glitter and Greed: The Lisa Frank Story<\/em>. Jones\u2019 hiring marks a reunion for her with Maxine founder Mary Robertson; they previously worked together at Left\/Right.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHaving been fortunate to work alongside Anneka for over a decade at Left\/Right, I know firsthand the qualities for which she has become recognized around the industry,\u201d Robertson said in a statement. \u201cShe is a dynamic, versatile executive and producer, capable of combining journalistic rigor with strong commercial instincts. Her addition marks a pivotal moment for Maxine, as we build on a wave of successes and invest in an ambitious nonfiction slate. I look forward to our next chapter together.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tSaid Jones, \u201cI am thrilled to join forces with Mary, a long-time friend and collaborator, as well as her incredible team at Maxine. I am honored to have the opportunity to build upon the company\u2019s remarkable success by expanding its production capacity and accelerating its creative efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJones spent 20 years at Left\/Right, most recently as chief content officer. During her time there, the company produced documentaries and series<\/a> including Showtime\u2019s The Circus<\/em>, FX\u2019s The New York Times Presents<\/em>, HBO\u2019s Celtics City<\/em>, installments of Frontline<\/em> at PBS and several shows for HGTV. Prior to joining Left\/Right, Jones worked on MTV\u2019s docuseries Choose or Lose<\/em> and True Life<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tMaxine\u2019s slate also includes ID and HBO Max\u2019s The Fall of Diddy<\/em>, Peacock\u2019s Girls Gone Wild: The Untold Story<\/em> and June<\/em>, a documentary about June Carter Cash, at Paramount+. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
