Tornado Cash co-creator Roman Storm has asked for additional financial support toward his legal defense as the landmark trial enters its third week.<\/p>\n

Roman Storm, one of the creators behind the Tornado Cash protocol, is seeking another $1.5 million to cover mounting legal costs as his landmark crypto trial enters its third week. <\/p>\n

In an \u201curgent call for support,\u201d Storm asked<\/a> for another $1.5 million in a July 26 X post, explaining that legal costs have been \u201cpiling up fast.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt sounds crazy, but I need again ~$1.5mm,\u201d Storm wrote, while noting<\/a> in a separate X post that his legal team has been \u201cworking around the clock.\u201d<\/p>\n
