Interactive Brokers joins a number of traditional finance institutions who are considering entering the stablecoin space, including JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup.<\/p>\n

Trading company Interactive Brokers is planning to expand its crypto footprint with services that could include a proprietary stablecoin.<\/p>\n

The move, reported<\/a> by Reuters on Monday, would allow traders to fund brokerage accounts using the company’s fiat-pegged cryptocurrency. Interactive is also exploring adding support for asset transfers for commonly traded cryptocurrencies. <\/p>\n

Interactive Brokers is a brokerage firm that provides trading and investment services across global markets. The company recently reported<\/a> over 3.8\u202fmillion active accounts at the end of the second quarter of 2025, a 32% increase from a year ago. It has more than $664 billion in assets under management.<\/p>\n
