Google&#8217;s AI Max is still in early rollout, but this example gives us a glimpse at just how far automation is going:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Headlines are longer than standard ad formats typically allow.<\/li>\n<li>Sitelinks are dynamically generated, not manually input.<\/li>\n<li>The ad pulls content directly from blogs, not just landing pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The big picture<\/strong>. Automation is more commonplace, but when it comes to ad copy, advertisers are used to having more control. AI Max is rewriting the playbook, automating not just bidding and targeting, but also creative assets and content sources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yes, but<\/strong>. More automation means less control \u2013 and potential risks around:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Brand safety<\/strong> (where AI pulls content from)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Performance consistency<\/strong> (are blog readers ready to convert?)<\/li>\n<li><strong>User experience<\/strong> (long, AI-written headlines can be awkward)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Between the lines<\/strong>. <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/update\/urn:li:activity:7354177876696453120\/\">Kuhlman<\/a>&#8216;s observation that blog pages are outperforming standard landing pages could hint at how Google\u2019s AI is reading intent \u2014 and possibly rewarding depth of content or informational value.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s next<\/strong>. Expect more advertisers to:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Audit their content libraries (especially blog archives).<\/li>\n<li>Test AI Max with\/without final URL expansion.<\/li>\n<li>Watch ad previews more closely to see what\u2019s being served.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bottom line<\/strong>. AI Max is reimagining how search ads are built.
