Meek Mill has commented on Shannon Sharpe’s firing from ESPN.<\/p>\n
Sharpe will not return to the sports broadcasting giant after he settled a lawsuit with a former girlfriend who accused him of rape, allegations which he denied.<\/p>\n
The Philadelphia rapp<\/a>er is among those to weigh in on Sharpe’s departure with him commenting: “Yall too old to be getting fired fr.”<\/p>\n Sharpe himself has yet to comment on ESPN or the lawsuit settlement.<\/p>\n Meek has also been teasing dropping some new music soon.<\/p>\n Responding to reports that he is the fifth most streamed rapper on YouTube, Meek wrote on social media<\/a>: \u201cAnd I\u2019m about to drop a heavy load!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n He also thanked fans for continuing to listen to him: \u201cShout out to everyone playing my music in their content! Everything aligning right! Make sure you use my new and old music. I own all the new but I still promo the old music because it laid the ground for me!\u201d<\/p>\n The Philadelphia rapper has not released a solo album since 2021\u2019s\u00a0Expensive Pain<\/em>.<\/p>\n Meek, who is never far from some controversy,\u00a0again recently denied knowing anything about Diddy\u2019s sex life.<\/p>\n Rumors have plagued the Philadelphia rapper ever since he was indirectly named in producer Lil Rod\u2019s lawsuit as having sex with his friend and collaborator.<\/p>\n Meek has repeatedly denied the claims and in a new interview with\u00a0Complex<\/em><\/a>\u00a0said: \u201cI truly believe it is a group of people aiming to tear down rappers, or Black entertainers involved in this culture through media platforms. He sets up a hypothetical, trying to explain the threadbare, flimsy nature of \u2018truth\u2019 on the internet.<\/p>\n \u201cThere was never a way people could just put out one rumor, and say I raped a little girl \u2026 Now it\u2019s in 15 publications that I raped a little girl. That\u2019s defamation on any level, but it\u2019s the way with social media and the internet.\u201d<\/p>\n He went on to address Diddy more directly: \u201cWhen I come around from Philadelphia, I always come around with three, four people. I\u2019ve never been in these types of environments without my guys around. A lot of people, they said sex parties. I attended New Year\u2019s parties. I never attended [Diddy\u2019s] white parties.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s kind of suspicious to me that none of those people from the Black community never spoke up and said those parties they went to wasn\u2019t straight freak offs.
