Metaplanet said it scooped up another 463 Bitcoin on Monday, making it the first public firm to capitalize on the Bitcoin dip in August.<\/p>\n

Metaplanet snapp<\/a>ed up another 463 Bitcoin on Monday, making it the first public company to capitalize on Bitcoin\u2019s recent 5% dip over the weekend.<\/p>\n

The Japanese investment firm bought the Bitcoin (BTC<\/a>) for 8 billion Japanese yen ($53.7 million) at an average purchasing price of around $115,895, Metaplanet said<\/a> in a Monday statement.<\/p>\n

The purchase brings Metaplanet\u2019s Bitcoin holdings to 17,595 Bitcoin \u2014 worth over $2 billion \u2014 maintaining its position as the world\u2019s seventh largest corporate Bitcoin holder.<\/p>\n
