The official Twitter<\/a>\/X account of the upcoming <\/span>Suikoden: The Anime<\/a><\/span><\/i> series<\/a> has revealed a new teaser image visual and a 2026 premiere date. <\/span>Suikoden: The Anime <\/span><\/i>will be an adaptation of the 1998 <\/span>Suikoden II <\/span><\/i>video game<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yuto Sato<\/b> (<\/span>Hunter \u00d7 Hunter: The Last Mission, Trillion Game<\/span><\/i>) is directing the anime adaptation, while <\/span>KONAMI animation<\/b> is handling the animation production. NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan\u2019s <\/span>Ryo Hino<\/b> is serving as the anime\u2019s producer and production manager.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Suikoden II<\/span><\/i> was first released in 1998 for the PlayStation 1 and is the second entry in <\/span>Konami<\/b>\u2019s <\/span>Suikoden<\/span> JRPG video game series. A remaster of <\/span>Suikoden<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Suikoden II<\/span><\/i>, titled <\/span>Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Dunan Unification Wars<\/span><\/i>, was released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X\/S, Xbox One, Windows, Steam, and Epic Games Store on March 6, 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
