Kendrick Lamar has announced that he is adding more dates to his Grand National tour.<\/p>\n
Co-headlined with his longtime friend and collaborator SZA, they will be performing two extra dates on the Australian leg of the tour.<\/p>\n
The two stadium shows will be in Melbourne and Sydney on December 4 and 11 respectively.<\/p>\n
They also confirmed that they will be supported by Doechii for the two dates.<\/p>\n
K. Dot and SZA have smashed a number of records on their tour so far.<\/p>\n
Back in June, they had already broken the record for highest grossing co-headlining tour in history.<\/p>\n
Through just 23 shows across America and Canada, Kendrick and SZA have grossed more than $256 million.<\/p>\n
The duo\u2019s average gross per show has been $11.1 million and they have sold a total of 1.1 million tickets across the record breaking run.<\/p>\n
The average concert on the tour has been attended by 48,000 fans.<\/p>\n
SZA gave Kendrick Lamar his flowers on the stop\u00a0in Maryland.<\/p>\n
During the portion of the concert where both stars are on stage, SZA reflected on how valuable her former TDE labelmate has been to her career so far.<\/p>\n
Getting emotional, SZA said: \u201cHe put me onto the biggest moment of my life. This is also the biggest moment of my life\u2026 I\u2019m so thankful, and I\u2019m so thankful to y\u2019all.\u201d<\/p>\n
The two \u201cLuther\u201d collaborators then shared a close hug before continuing to perform.<\/p>\n
SZA previously revealed she had doubts\u00a0over the co-headlining tour with the rap superstar.<\/p>\n
Sitting down for a chat with Chapp<\/a>ell Roan for\u00a0Interview Magazine<\/em><\/a>, SZA has confessed to suffering from anxiety.<\/p>\n She said: \u201cEvery time I had to go on stage, every time I had to get on a carpet, I\u2019d have full-on panic attacks. I used to not show up to something because it was like, \u2018I\u2019m never going to win. No one cares that I\u2019m here. Why would I go?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n The TDE singer said those issues spilled over into her tour with Kendrick: \u201cSame thing with the Kendrick tour. Everybody\u2019s going to see Kendrick.
