{"id":683738,"date":"2025-08-07T08:50:21","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T05:50:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/genshin-impact-cuts-ps4-support\/"},"modified":"2025-08-07T08:50:21","modified_gmt":"2025-08-07T05:50:21","slug":"genshin-impact-cuts-ps4-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/genshin-impact-cuts-ps4-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Genshin Impact Cuts PS4 Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>Genshin Impact<\/em> is dropping support for PlayStation 4, as part of the open-world fantasy RPG\u2019s recently announced device and system requirement changes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">According to an official announcement, the new changes are being made in order to \u201csupport future version updates and optimize <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> performance,\u201d and that the requirements will be raised \u201cstarting with the \u2018Song of the Welkin Moon\u2019 version.\u201d\u00a0 A separate <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/genshin.hoyoverse.com\/en\/news\/detail\/158501\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announcement<\/a> on the<em> Genshin Impact<\/em> website regarding the end of PS4 support cites \u201climitations related to hardware performance and platform <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>lication size.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The PS4 version of the gacha game will be delisted from PlayStation Store starting on September 10 at 6 AM UTC+8. This will be followed by the end of in-game purchases on February 25, 2026 at 6 AM UTC+8 and the cessation of updates on August 4, 2026 at 6 AM UTC+8.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">After the update support ends, unclaimed items that were purchased from the PlayStation Store will be claimable on PlayStation 5.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">As for other platforms, the changes (which aren\u2019t the first of their kind) include <em>Genshin Impact<\/em> asking for 6th-gen processors on PCs at minimum and Android devices needing at least Android 10.0. The full list of requirements is available<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/genshin.hoyoverse.com\/en\/news\/detail\/158502\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The PS4 was one of the original platforms that <em>Genshin Impact\u00a0<\/em>launched on back in 2020, along with PC and mobile.
