\n Ryan Lochte wants Alex Rodriguez to show him the money.<\/p>\n

The Olympic gold medalist last year went on A-Rod\u2019s CNBC show, \u201cBack in the Game<\/a>,\u201d in which Rodriguez aimed to mentor athletes who had fallen into hard times. Lochte joined that group after the 2016 Olympics in Rio, when he and three teammates were accused of embellishing a story that they were robbed at gunpoint at a local gas station.<\/p>\n

Lochte lost millions of dollars in sponsorships from the incident, but the show with A-Rod was poised to help make up for some of that. Rodriguez had set him up with a deal through the personal training app Fitplan that was reportedly going to pay Lochte $15,000 per month, according to SwimSwam<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But the payments have not come as promised, according to Lochte.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was supposed to be getting paid like monthly,\u201d Lochte said on an episode of \u201cIn Depth with Graham Bensinger\u201d that is set to air this weekend. \u201cBut, I\u2019ve only been paid three times. And that deal started in November of last year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lochte said he was told the issue was over him not attracting enough subscribers to the app.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just recently reached out even like a month ago to Alex, being like, \u2018Dude, I know you got me. Your show is \u2018Back in the Game.\u2019 There is good and bad things that happened out of this, but \u2018Back in the Game,\u2019 like I\u2019m not really back in the game,’\u201d Lochte said. \u201c\u2018Like, I\u2019m still back at where I started before the show started. Like, so what did you really like \u2026 Are you going to try to get me another deal or what?\u2019 And like, haven\u2019t heard anything from him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lochte, who recently served a 14-month suspension for receiving a prohibited IV infusion, said A-Rod\u2019s show did help him in apologizing to teammates. But he also took issue with how it portrayed his wife, Kayla Rae Reid.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow that it\u2019s over and everything, I don\u2019t have anything to hide, like I didn\u2019t like it,\u201d Lochte said. \u201cLike, the perception that he portrayed to my wife was completely wrong. We were looking at cars, because we want- had to trade in her car for the show, or whatever, and to cut down our expenses. And um, they made her say like, \u201cOh, this is no.\u201d Being like, \u201cNo, this is not. I would never drive this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s not her at all. She\u2019s, like, the penny pincher. And it portrayed her as being this superficial person, and that\u2019s not her at all, and I was really hurt about that part because I have to protect my family, and I was pissed off about that\u2026I was like, \u201cThis is bulls\u2013t. Like, what are they doing?\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
