Nicki Minaj and Dez Bryant have called a truce in their social media<\/a> war of words.<\/p>\n

The two initially began feuding over Minaj’s war on everything to do with Roc Nation who have represented Bryant since his playing days.<\/p>\n

The back and forth swiftly escalated to include references to domestic violence, Minaj’s husband’s rape conviction and a challenge to a fight.<\/p>\n

However, calmer heads have now prevailed with the former Dallas Cowboy writing on social media: “On some G shit @nickiminaj I really don’t like the misunderstanding we had between each other… I apologize for bringing up your husband’s past… it’s a shame only negative things make headlines between two Black people who have much influence on our community. I’m at war with myself every day to better myself for my kids and the kids who are watching me and the last thing I want to do is argue over stupid shit. I pray for only peace and positivity your way.”<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The sentiment was returned by Minaj who wrote: “The Lord will grant you peace, Dez. Nothing makes me respect somebody more than a public display of accountability. I accept your apology. I apologize as well if I offended you. If you still wanna do that fight lmk. He def got them hands. Seriously tho, all the best.”<\/p>\n

Bryant had previously apologized to his fans for getting mixed up in a social media war of words.<\/p>\n

He wrote: \u201cI\u2019m not in the sphere of people crashing out on the internet. I don\u2019t bother people..I never do. I was just posting about my son. I let the devil win that time\u2026I apologize to the kids who follow me because I care about setting the right example more than you know..By the way..whenever people bring up my past..I want everybody to stop and think for 5 minutes..you can make it through anything if you put your mind to it..no matter how big the battle is\u2026no excuses.\u201d<\/p>\n

The row also led to 50 Cent weighing in.<\/p>\n

In a since deleted post on Instagram, 50 uploaded a screenshot of one of his \u201cBeep Beep\u201d collaborator\u2019s tweets about Bryant and wrote: \u201cWTF going on here. Nikki be blacking out on these people LOL.\u201d<\/p>\n
