Photo by Peter Kramer \/ Getty.<br \/>\n    <\/span><\/p>\n<p>  <span class=\"credit\"><br \/>\n      \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-273141\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n            The estate of MF DOOM has launched a lawsuit against Temu accusing the online retailer of selling bootleg merchandise of the late r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/pro\/mf-doom-estate-sues-temu-lawsuit-sells-counterfeit-merch\/\"><i>Billboard<\/i><\/a> reports.\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            The complaint was made on August 11 in California federal court by Gas Drawls LLC, the company co-founded by DOOM before his passing in 2020. It alleges that Temu sells unauthorized versions of official products available on MF DOOM&#8217;s official store.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            These items, including hats, shirts, and posters, are sold by Temu \u201cat a far lower price point and a fraction of the quality,&#8221; the suit reads. \u201cSuch product devalues the subject marks, as well as plaintiff\u2019s proprietary and licensed products and MF Doom\u2019s status in the hip hop milieu.&#8221;\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            DOOM&#8217;s estate also points to the possibility of bootleg merch linking DOOM&#8217;s brand with Temu, which the suit calls &#8220;one of the most unethical companies operating in today\u2019s global marketplace.\u201d The lawsuit allegedly references lawsuits accusing Temu of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/business-67752413\">forced labor practices<\/a> and user privacy violations, and takes issue with \u201cproducts that shock the [con<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a>]\u201d available for sale on Temu, including shirts with homophobic messages.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            The lawsuit accuses Temu of seven infractions including trademark infringement, unfair competition and misappropriation of likeness. DOOM&#8217;s estate are asking the court to issue an injunction to prevent the sale of the infringing products.
