They called the cops, who arrived to find two people murdered at a gruesome scene.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-689eacb36efa4-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The victims were identified as 39-year-old\u00a0<strong>Athena Georgopoulos<\/strong> (pictured above) and her 50-year-old partner <strong>Andrew Gunn<\/strong>, who reportedly lived at the scene of the crime, per Australian <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> reports. The assailant was nowhere to be found.<\/p>\n<p>But about four hours after the discovery of the bodies, a 34-year-old man named <strong>Ross Judd<\/strong> was arrested at\u00a0<strong>Westall\u00a0<\/strong>train station in Melbourne where he was found with his two dogs. He was taken into custody and charged with two counts of murder. Cops say he is homeless \u2014 but he wasn\u2019t a stranger. He was <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>arently known to the victims.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Teen Murders Random Uber Driver Just \u2018To Let Some Steam Off\u2019 \u2014 WTF!<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-689eacb36efa8-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Police spokesperson\u00a0<strong>Dean Thomas<\/strong> told Australian media outlets:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cPolice were called at about 9:20 p.m. in relation to a welfare check at the address based on some yelling that was heard from the property. A second call was then made that suggested it was perhaps more urgent than what the first call was and police arrived minutes later, and obviously they found the male and female inside the premises deceased.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The two victims were not <em>just<\/em> deceased, either. According to reports that cited neighbors who rushed to the scene, Gunn\u2019s head had been cut clean off his body and had been driven through by a spike. Seriously. WTF\u2026<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-689eacb36efab-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Regarding Judd, who was found at that train station later, Thomas added that cops already think there is a connection between the alleged killer and his victims:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWe believe he may be of no fixed place of abode. It appears to be targeted and our suspect is known to the address. \u2026 We believe that there is a link between our suspect and the address.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Connected to the address? There was a ton of weird and unsettling graffiti at the apartment where Athena and Andrew were killed, as well. The\u00a0<em>Herald Sun<\/em> and others report that some of the scrawled messages included:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-689eacb36efad-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cKarma is not a menu.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMeat is murder\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBetrayal\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-689eacb36efae-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cUnpredictable\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInevitable\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cU R Gay\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-689eacb36efb0-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cEnough is Enough\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"highlight\">Chilling\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The officer told media outlets:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-689eacb36efb1-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cPolice are aware of graffiti on the property in Mount Waverley where the bodies of two people were located last night. Homicide Squad detectives will work to determine if the graffiti is relevant to the murder investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>That said, cops do not have a clear picture yet on a possible motive. According to <em>The <\/em><em>US Sun<\/em>, investigators believe the case may be drug-related, but they\u2019re not sure.<\/p>\n<p>Tragically, Athena was five months pregnant when she died. She and Andrew had been looking forward to having the baby <em>so<\/em> much \u2014 in part because she had thought it wasn\u2019t possible. Her aunt\u00a0<strong>Patty Dilveridis<\/strong> told the\u00a0<em>Herald Sun<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-689eacb36efb3-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cShe was so looking forward to having a baby, because she was 39 [and] she never thought she could have one.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"highlight\">So sad\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Neighbors in the area are understandably still in shock days later, too. <strong>Ben Scott-Sandvik<\/strong>, the first neighbor on the scene who made the awful discovery, told that outlet:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-689eacb36efb4-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI mean, no one should have to come across what I saw down there, and nobody needs to live knowing that this sort of thing has happened to their families.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A second local identified as <strong>Dimmi<\/strong> said she had known Athena when she was much younger, as a child, and remembered her being so sweet as a little girl:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know much about the girl who passed away, but I knew her when she was young. They used to come to my house all the time. She was a lovely girl. A very nice girl. I\u2019m so, so sad.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-689eacb36efb6-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>And a third neighbor named\u00a0<strong>Mary<\/strong> also reflected on her shock at the grisly murders:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cEverybody is shocked here. It\u2019s amazing that it\u2019s just happened so close. I\u2019ve spoken to others in the street and they said they didn\u2019t hear anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"highlight\">Just awful.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-689eacb36efb7-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>We send our condolences to Athena and Andrew\u2019s friends, family members, and loved ones.
