Steve Lacy has opened up about his app<\/a>arent beef with Drake after being dissed by the 6 God last year.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Rolling Ston<\/em><\/a>e, Lacy was asked about Drizzy aiming some shots at him.<\/p>\n

He replied: \u201cI thought it was so awesome. I love Drake. I grew up listening to Drake and shit, you know. I was like, \u2018This is so beautiful.\u2019 I didn\u2019t know what it meant \u2026 And then Foushe\u00e9 sent me a link and it was the video and I was like, \u2018Whoa.\u2019 I was so excited \u2026 I fucked with it. It was cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a Kick stream with xQc last November, Drake said of Lacy: \u201cThis guy\u2019s like a fragile opp \u2014 it is a good song, though. Chat knows what I\u2019m talking about. Fragility.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time, Lacy reacted on social media<\/a> by writing: \u201cWho tryna be my\u2026fragile opp [drooling face emoji].”<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Internet\u00a0bandmember, who previously came out as bisexual, further trolled Drake by writing on his IG Stories: \u201chappy pride month [heart emoji] I been proud\u201d alongside a smiling selfie.<\/p>\n

Drake\u2019s diss does not come entirely out of the blue as Steve Lacy was one of many artists and L.A. natives who joined\u00a0Kendrick Lamar\u00a0on stage at his\u00a0Pop Out show\u00a0earlier this year and also worked with the Compton superstar on his 2017 album\u00a0DAMN.<\/em><\/p>\n

Drizzy also used his appearance on xQc\u2019s livestream to send a pointed remark in the direction of Kendrick shortly after his rival dropped his latest album\u00a0GNX<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Toronto native introduced himself on the stream by saying: \u201cI\u2019m here \u2014 mind, body and soul fully intact, in case you were wondering. You need facts to take me out; fairytales won\u2019t do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kid Cudi also recently explained his reaction to being dissed by Drake while he was in rehab for substance abuse.<\/p>\n

Drake took aim at Cudi on 2016 track \u201cTwo Birds, One Stone\u201d which mocked the \u201cPursuit of Happiness\u201d rapper\u2019s struggles with mental health, a move which was poorly received by fans.<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0CBS Mornings<\/em><\/a>, Cudi detailed his reaction to the song: \u201cI was like, oh okay, you wanna kick me when I\u2019m down. Great. But he wanted to play the game<\/a> with me. He wanted me to put him in my song or whatever and I\u2019m not that type of artist.\u201d<\/p>\n
