The Osbourne family has pulled the plug on a documentary revolving around their poor late pop\u2026 At least for now.<\/p>\n

Before Ozzy Osbourne<\/strong>\u2019s death, a documentary titled Coming Home<\/em> \u2014 following his and Sharon<\/strong>\u2019s move back to the UK before his farewell concert with Black Sabbath<\/strong> \u2014 was actively being filmed. It was set to premiere on the BBC<\/strong> on Monday, August 18 at 9:00 p.m. local time\u2026 But as of Monday morning, it\u2019s been wiped from the schedule! So\u2026 what happ<\/a>ened??<\/p>\n

According to an insider via The Sun<\/em>, the Osbourne family had \u201cconcerns\u201d with the feature\u2019s rushed schedule:<\/p>\n

\u201cThere have been conversations behind the scenes that maybe the BBC were rushing their show on Ozzy out \u2014 especially because Paramount+<\/strong> also had a film in the offing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Rushed how? Well, for one thing, they apparently crunched the thing into a couple quick hours instead of the lengthy docuseries<\/a> it was supposed to be:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe BBC\u2019s production had been originally planned to run as a ten part series following Ozzy and Sharon\u2019s move back to the UK called Home To Roost<\/em>. After Ozzy passed away, the makers of the series then decided it should be a one-off film.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The insider continued:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat mattered the most to the family was the overall tone and theme of the programme, which features Ozzy and Sharon in one of their last interviews together. It started to feel like the goal being pursued was that the BBC and the makers of the film were to get the show on air faster than the Paramount+ doc. Naturally that has caused some concerns with the family.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

We get that\u2026 This is the death of a legend! Not a marketing opportunity!<\/p>\n

According to NME<\/em>, the documentary features Kelly<\/strong> and Jack Osbourne<\/strong> and is \u201cmoving and inspirational.\u201d A BBC representative has since issued the following statement:<\/p>\n

Inneresting. We certainly agree with the family it\u2019s far more important to make a quality documentary than to get one out faster than the competition. We mean, these are some of Ozzy\u2019s final words, his last interview with Sharon. Shouldn\u2019t more care be given?<\/p>\n
