Fat Joe has made it clear that he does not vibe with Gunna because he thinks he’s a “rat”.<\/p>\n
Speaking on his Joe & Jada Podcast<\/em>, the “Make it Rain” rapp<\/a>er said that he liked Gunna’s new album but that he could not back people hit with snitching allegations.<\/p>\n He explained: “My thing is now, you got some guys that are the hottest guys in the game<\/a>. Rats. Like I get a phone call from somebody. He says, ‘Yo man, you got to check this album out.’ … Listen, ever since I assumed you a rat, your people ain’t fucking with you no more. I’m off you no matter what you do.”<\/p>\n Joe added: “I never went to see this guy one time in my life after he ratted because he violated the code. I’ve been through this in my life. And so to see it so acceptable how everybody’s acting like, ‘Yo, it’s OK, it’s no problem, it’s good music. … Let’s separate the art form from what it is.’”<\/p>\n Gunna has been plagued by snitching accusations ever since he agreed an Alford plea in YSL’s long-running and controversial RICO trial.<\/p>\n He has always denied snitching on anybody and has been backed up by his former lawyer, Steve Sadow.<\/p>\n \u201cI was Gunna\u2019s attorney but I am NOT speaking on his behalf. This long post is solely to set out the truth,\u201d he began. \u201cGunna did NOT cooperate, and did NOTHING and said NOTHING to cause harm to Thug\u2019s case. He spent 8 months in jail and was released in Dec. 2022 after entering an Alford plea. Gunna\u2019s plea could not and was not used at Thug\u2019s trial and he was never even named as a witness. He received a 5-yr suspended sentence, with no reporting, no travel<\/a> restrictions, no living restrictions, AND NO PROBATION.<\/p>\n \u201cOver the last two years, from media<\/a> reports, he has performed all over the world, achieved international fame and recognition, and earned millions of dollars. Conversely, Thug went to trial and eventually pled guilty and nolo after spending 30-months in jail, received 15 years probation, with reporting conditions and is not even allowed to live in Atlanta. THOSE THAT HAVE AND CONTINUE TO BAD MOUTH GUNNA, GET OVER IT.
