LightSpeed Japan Studio, the studio led by Devil May Cry 5<\/em> and Dragon\u2019s Dogma<\/em> series<\/a> director Hideaki Itsuno, has announced<\/a> the establishment of an Osaka office in addition to its Tokyo office, as well as the recruitment of Capcom game<\/a> veterans Bingo Morihashi, Daigo Ikeno, and Gouda Cheese. <\/p>\n

Bingo Morihashi is a scenario writer who will work as a narrative lead. He previously worked on scenarios for the Devil May Cry<\/em> series, Dragon\u2019s Dogma<\/em> series, and more.<\/p>\n

Daigo Ikeno is an illustrator who will work as an art director. He has previously worked on character designs for games like Street Fighter III 3rd Strike<\/em>, Devil May Cry 2<\/em>, Devil May Cry 3<\/em>, Devil May Cry 5<\/em>, and Street Fighter IV<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Gouda Cheese, also known as Bengus, is an illustrator who will work as an art designer. He has previously worked on 2D character designs for games like the Darkstalkers<\/em> and Marvel vs. Capcom<\/em> series, as well as the production of the anime<\/a> Battle Spirits: Shounen Gekiha Dan<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy establishing studios in both Tokyo and Osaka, we\u2019ve put together a system that allows us to utilize some of Japan\u2019s best game development talent,\u201d Itsuno said in a press release. \u201cThe newly recruited senior members demonstrate leadership in the fields of narrative development, art direction, and character design, and will serve as a driving force in the creation of our innovative AAA action title. Creating an original AAA intellectual property from the ground up is extremely rare in Japan these days, and that is exactly what we are striving to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

LightSpeed Japan Studio currently has a team of app<\/a>roximately 40 staff, and is developing a \u201cnext-generation cross-platform AAA action title,\u201d based on a brand-new intellectual property. The studio is currently hiring<\/a> across multiple positions in both Tokyo and Osaka.<\/p>\n
