Freddie Gibbs has called out rapp<\/a>ers for relying on A.I. for writing verses.<\/p>\n

In a conversation with The Ringer<\/em>, Gibbs made it clear he had issues with artists who used A.I. tools such as ChatGPT to write songs.<\/p>\n

He explained: \u201cLook at AI rap now man. I don\u2019t even believe nobody that write. I don\u2019t even believe if you even really make it anymore cause I done been in studios with motherfuckers and mutherfuckers is ChatGPT shit and I\u2019m like, \u2018What in the fuck?\u2019 Like damn, how long am I gonna be able to do this shit? Cause I\u2019m actually making fresh shit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Without naming any names, Gibbs added: \u201cHow long am I going to be able to do it when there\u2019s motherfuckers in the studio typing into a computer to get their music? We in a lazy day and age, man. Heart is dying and you got to ask a computer to write your lyrics, shit is wack.”<\/p>\n

Gibbs recently revealed that Kanye West was not happy his verse on Vultures 1 track “Back to Me” got more praise than any of his.<\/p>\n

He explained: \u201cThis n-gga Kanye was mad about that shit. That n-gga was telling n-ggas like, \u2018Man, how the fuck this n-gga think his verse is the best on my album?’\u201d<\/p>\n

Gibbs added: \u201cWhen I sent it to him, I sent it to him thinking that, with the premise, he\u2019d be proud of me. \u2018Cause I look up to you. So I would think that, I rapped on your album, and people talking about it like this, you would think that a n-gga like you would be proud of me. That pissed him off.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded by saying: \u201cA lot of that shit was a slap in the face. I\u2019m putting my shit on pause to be on Vultures bitch ass n-gga. I could be recording\u00a0Alfredo 2<\/em>. I put a lot of shit on hold to come to Italy to work with you and for you to shit on some of my best work \u2019cause you mad \u2019cause n-ggas saying it\u2019s better, you know what I\u2019m saying?\u201d<\/p>\n
