Offset has claimed that Gunna is his favorite artist to collaborate with.<\/p>\n
While many rapp<\/a>ers have shied away from Gunna following YSL’s controversial RICO trial in which he took an Alford plea, Offset has made it clear he is standing by his friend.<\/p>\n Speaking on the Full Send Podcast<\/em>, Offset said: “We just know the pockets to be in, bounce off each other with good ideas.”<\/p>\n The former Migos rapper added that he had not experienced any backlash for working with Gunna: “Don’t be my business, so, nah. I don’t see no flak.”<\/p>\n He continued: “He taught me a valuable lesson too: tune shit out and get to what people really love you for.”<\/p>\n Fat Joe recently claimed that while he was a fan of Gunna’s music, he could not support it due to allegations that he snitched on Young Thug.<\/p>\n He explained: \u201cMy thing is now, you got some guys that are the hottest guys in the game<\/a>. Rats. Like I get a phone call from somebody. He says, \u2018Yo man, you got to check this album out.\u2019 \u2026 Listen, ever since I assumed you a rat, your people ain\u2019t fucking with you no more. I\u2019m off you no matter what you do.\u201d<\/p>\n Joe added: \u201cI never went to see this guy one time in my life after he ratted because he violated the code. I\u2019ve been through this in my life. And so to see it so acceptable how everybody\u2019s acting like, \u2018Yo, it\u2019s OK, it\u2019s no problem, it\u2019s good music. \u2026 Let\u2019s separate the art form from what it is.’\u201d<\/p>\n Gunna has been plagued by snitching accusations ever since he agreed an Alford plea in YSL\u2019s long-running and controversial RICO trial.<\/p>\n He has always denied snitching on anybody and\u00a0has been backed up by his former lawyer, Steve Sadow.<\/p>\n \u201cI was Gunna\u2019s attorney but I am NOT speaking on his behalf. This long post is solely to set out the truth,\u201d he said. \u201cGunna did NOT cooperate, and did NOTHING and said NOTHING to cause harm to Thug\u2019s case. He spent 8 months in jail and was released in Dec. 2022 after entering an Alford plea. Gunna\u2019s plea could not and was not used at Thug\u2019s trial and he was never even named as a witness.
