Instead, it\u2019s something more fundamental.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Amazon\u2019s ad system is tightly tied to your listings, inventory, and account health.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If these aren\u2019t aligned, even perfectly targeted campaigns with the right bids and budgets can stop delivering.<\/p>\n<p>Over years of auditing accounts, we\u2019ve found six issues that cause most Amazon ad delivery problems.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-buy-box-featured-offer-issues-the-foundation-of-ad-eligibility-nbsp\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Buy_box_featured_offer_issues_The_foundation_of_ad_eligibility\"><\/span>1. Buy box (featured offer) issues: The foundation of ad eligibility&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>No matter how strong your keywords or bids are, if you don\u2019t have the buy box, Amazon won\u2019t run your sponsored products or sponsored display ads. (Sponsored brand ads will still run without the buy box.)<\/p>\n<p>Since sponsored products usually make up the bulk of your ad budget, losing them can cause a sharp drop in sales.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can lose the buy box either through suppression of the listing itself or your specific offer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reasons you might lose the buy box for your products:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Other sellers on the same listing have a lower or similar price with an FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) offer.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Your current price is significantly higher than the reference price for that same listing over the last 30 days.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Your seller metrics have declined (late shipment rate, order defect rate, cancellation rate).<\/li>\n<li>Your inventory is fulfilled by merchant (FBM) while competitors use FBA.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to fix it:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you are the brand owner, limiting the number of resellers will give you the most control over your ability to run advertising for your products.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Review your pricing strategy and ensure you&#8217;re competitive.\u00a0Basically, match or beat competitor pricing.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Switch from FBM to FBA if possible. Out of stock inventory&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Amazon ads will not deliver when your product is out of stock for sponsored products and sponsored display.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Unlike Google and Bing, Amazon benefits the most when an ad is shown and that impression causes a sale on the platform.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Maintain at least 4-6 weeks of inventory based on your daily sales velocity&nbsp;for advertised ASINs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For many of our clients, we also turn off ads for products with less than two weeks of inventory.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We then keep those ads off until the inventory becomes fully available at the FBA warehouses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This helps ensure that our clients spend money on advertising only when the product will convert the best.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-adult-product-classification\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Adult_product_classification\"><\/span>3.
