Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan are \u201cworking together on the future of Rayman<\/em>,\u201d brand producer Loic Gounon said in a video message<\/a> celebrating the series<\/a>\u2019 30th anniversary. Rayman<\/em> first launched for the original PlayStation on September 1, 1995.<\/p>\n

\u201cA very talented team at Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan are currently working together on the future of Rayman<\/em>,\u201d Gounon said. \u201cDon\u2019t expect news<\/a> from us too soon, but rest assured, Rayman<\/em> is in good hands.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in October 2024, Ubisoft confirmed<\/a> that Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan \u201crecently started an exploration phase on the Rayman<\/em> brand,\u201d with a project \u201cstill in its early stages.\u201d This was following a report from Insider Gaming<\/a> that a Rayman<\/em> remake was in early development.<\/p>\n

More recently, in May, Ubisoft Milan posted job listings for a 3D gameplay animator<\/a> and senior game designer<\/a> to work on \u201ca prestigious AAA title for the Rayman<\/em> brand.\u201d<\/p>\n

A bit about myself\u2014I joined Ubisoft 20 years ago and I\u2019ve been working on the Rayman<\/em> franchise since 2006, on projects such as Rayman Raving Rabbids<\/em>, Rayman Origins<\/em>, and Rayman Legends<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Rayman<\/em> was born at Ubisoft Montpellier back in 1995 and, for the past 30 years, he has gone on many adventures thanks to studios across the world like Ubisoft Paris, Ubisoft Milan, or Ubisoft Annecy.<\/p>\n

Starting now and across our community channels, we are taking a moment to celebrate this incredible history by looking back. We will be sharing behind the scenes, anecdotes, developer interviews, concept art, and more throughout the months to come.<\/p>\n

Rayman<\/em> couldn\u2019t have become such a legend without all of you, the fans. You\u2019ve helped to keep his legacy growing and we\u2019re incredibly thankful for that.<\/p>\n
