Famitsu<\/a> has published its estimated physical game<\/a> software data for Japan for week of August 25, 2025 to August 31, 2025. <\/p>\n

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater<\/em> for PlayStation 5 was the highest selling new single SKU of the week, opening at 63,585 retail sales.<\/p>\n

It was followed by Super Robot Wars Y<\/em>, which sold 60,532 units on Switch and 30,969 units on PlayStation 5 for an opening week total of 91,501 retail copies sold.<\/p>\n

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar<\/em> also started strong, with 46,586 units on Switch and 18,148 units on Switch 2, totaling at 64,734 retail sales.<\/p>\n

On the hardware side, Switch 2 sold 41,957 units, the Switch family sold 20,589 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 8,304 units, the Xbox Series<\/a> family sold 389 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 16 units.<\/p>\n
