The official Twitter<\/a>\/X account for the upcoming <\/span>My Awkward Senpai<\/span><\/i> TV anime<\/a> series<\/a> has announced that it will premiere in Japan on October 2, 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The anime will be released on the U-NEXT and Anime Hodai streaming services in Japan on October 2, while on TV, it will broadcast on the Tokyo MX and BS NTV TV channels the same day. It will also be released on the AT-X channel on October 3, 2025 and other streaming services on October 6, 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ayumu Kotake<\/b> (<\/span>Acro Trip<\/a><\/span><\/i>) is directing the anime series, with <\/span>Mio Inoue<\/b> (<\/span>Slow Start <\/span><\/i>series screenwriter and co-script<\/a>writer, <\/span>Acro Trip<\/span><\/i> co-scenario writer) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter and <\/span>Kenro Tokuda<\/b> (<\/span>Acro Trip <\/span><\/i>sub-character designer) as character designer. <\/span>Studio Elle<\/b> is in charge of the animation production.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the anime\u2019s voice cast stars <\/span>Lynn<\/b> as <\/span>Azusa Kannawa<\/span>, <\/span>Shogo Sakata<\/b> as Yu Kamegawa, <\/span>Ami Maeshima<\/b> as Miho Hotta, and <\/span>Mitsuki Saiga<\/b> as Ritsu Kankaiji.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Makoto Kudo<\/b>\u2018s original romantic comedy manga has been serialized in Square Enix\u2019s Young Gangan magazine since December 6, 2019. Nine tankobon volumes have been released as of March 2025, with a 10th volume set to be published in Japan on September 25, 2025. The manga is being released in English digitally on the Manga UP! Global app and Comikey.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
