Crunchyroll and Sony are bringing the Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution<\/em> compilation film, which features the Shibuya Incident arc from Season 2 and the first two episodes from the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The<\/em>\u00a0Culling Game<\/a> Part 1<\/em>, to the screens of \u201cselect international regions.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Crunchyroll says that the compilation will first premiere in the UK and Ireland on November 14. Other regions that are getting screenings include EMEA, Latin America and APAC.<\/span><\/p>\n

GKIDS previously announced that it was bringing Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution\u00a0<\/em>(Gekijouban Jujutsu Kaisen \u201cShibuya Jihen Tokubetsu Henshuban\u201d x \u201cShimetsu Kaiyu Senko Joei.\u201d<\/em>) to North America, starting December 5. Here\u2019s a blurb from the official descript<\/a>ion:<\/span><\/p>\n

In \u201cCulling Game,\u201d Special Grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu\u2014the protagonist of JUJUTSU KAISEN 0\u2014finally enters the fray. Appointed by the higher ups of the jujutsu world as Yuji Itadori\u2019s executioner, Yuta must turn his blade on Yuji. The highly anticipated battle between Satoru Gojo\u2019s two beloved students unfolds on the big screen.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The compilation will begin screening in Japan on November 7 JST, while the third Jujutsu Kaisen <\/em>season, which Crunchyroll will stream \u201cexclusively worldwide, excluding Asia.\u201d will start its broadcast in January 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jujutsu Kaisen<\/em> is based on the supernatural action manga<\/a> by Gege Akutami<\/strong>, where Jujutsu Sorcerers battle Cursed Spirits in modern-day Japan. The first season of the anime ran from late 2020 to early 2021 with 24 episodes. The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 <\/em>prequel movie, based on the manga\u2019s four-chapter predecessor, premiered in December 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Season 2 followed in 2023, running from July to December of that year. Its latter \u201cShibuya Incident Arc\u201d started a few weeks after the initial \u201cHidden Inventory Arc.\u201d The season also saw Shota Goshozono\u00a0<\/strong>(Jujutsu Kaisen<\/em>\u00a0Episode 17,\u00a0Ranking of Kings<\/em>\u00a0Episode 21, and\u00a0Chainsaw Man<\/em> Episode 8 storyboard artist and episode director) taking over as director from Sunghoo Park\u00a0<\/strong>(God of High School<\/em>,\u00a0Ninja Kamui<\/em>).<\/span><\/p>\n
