\n Four people were wounded \u2014 one critically \u2014 in two separate shootings across the Big App<\/a>le late Wednesday, according to cops.<\/p>\n

Two 36-year-old men were blasted in the leg \u2014 one of them struck twice \u2014 and a 30-year-old man also shot in the leg on Glenwood Road near East 31st Street in South Midwood around 10:10 p.m., cops said.<\/p>\n

All three went to the Kings County Hospital Center by private means with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

The circumstances of the shooting were not immedia<\/a>tely clear.<\/p>\n

About two hours earlier, a 29-year-old man was shot once in the head during a dispute on Prospect Avenue near East 163rd Street in the Bronx, cops said.<\/p>\n

He was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to police.<\/p>\n

The suspect, who cops say was wearing a red shirt and gray sweatpants, took off, heading north on Prospect Avenue.<\/p>\n

In total on Wednesday, four shootings were reported with six victims, according to preliminary numbers released by the NYPD. No one was killed.<\/p>\n

On that day in 2019, two people were shot \u2014 neither fatally \u2014 in two separate shootings.<\/p>\n
