Senate Republicans initially said they planned to pass digital asset market structure before 2026, but consideration of the bill was already delayed before the shutdown.<\/p>\n
Wisconsin Representative Bryan Steil, one of the original cosponsors of the House of Representatives\u2019 crypto market structure bill, the CLARITY Act, said Republicans\u2019 timeline of passing the legislation before 2026 was still the plan, despite the ongoing government shutdown.<\/p>\n
In a Wednesday CNBC interview, Steil said<\/a> Republicans\u2019 plan for passing legislation to establish what they called regulatory clarity for the digital industry was still on track.
