Luxembourg\u2019s sovereign wealth fund made its first Bitcoin ETF investment, and trader Peter Brandt says BTC could be nearing a top or a \u201cdramatic\u201d surge.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin advocate Roger Ver, known to many in the crypto industry as \u201cBitcoin Jesus,\u201d has reportedly reached a deal with the US Department of Justice that could allow him to avoid prison time.<\/p>\n<p>According to a Thursday New York Times report, Ver\u2019s lawyers <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/10\/09\/technology\/roger-ver-bitcoin-justice-department-deal.html\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"null\">reached<\/a> a tentative agreement with US authorities that would require the Bitcoin (BTC) advocate to pay $48 million in taxes he owed from his crypto holdings.
