Fit is still going to be a personal experiment, especially if you\u2019re using a different printer or material. But the fact that they\u2019ve included these tools at all shows they\u2019re serious about making this accessible.<\/p>\n<p>Presq\u2019s founder, Adam Saleh, has talked about keeping \u201ccultural value closer to the communities that create it,\u201d which is a fancy way of saying this project is as much about empowerment as it is about footwear. The idea is to shift some of the power from big brands to local makers, artists, and small businesses. It\u2019s a noble goal, but it\u2019s also a practical one. If you\u2019re a designer in Lagos or a maker in Mumbai, you don\u2019t need to wait for Nike to notice your market. You can print, customize, and sell your own versions of these shoes, tailored to your community\u2019s needs and tastes. And while the files are open, they\u2019re still designed with Bambu\u2019s ecosystem in mind, so if you\u2019re using a different printer, you might need to spend some time dialing in the settings. But these aren\u2019t dealbreakers.
