In a new interview with WSJ. Magazine<\/em> out on Tuesday, Justin Bieber<\/strong>\u2018s wife was put in the hot seat about her rivalry with Selena Gomez<\/strong> \u2014 and her answer was so shady!!! Now that her Rhode<\/strong> products will be sold in Sephora<\/strong> alongside Selly\u2019s Rare Beauty<\/strong> items, the journalist wondered if Hailey is \u201cnervous\u201d that shoppers will \u201ccompare\u201d them.<\/p>\n

The funniest part? App<\/a>arently, her publicist, who was sitting nearby, actually told her not to respond! LMFAO!<\/p>\n

Later, though, the model couldn\u2019t help herself, complaining:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s always annoying being pitted against other people. I didn\u2019t ask for that. When people want to see you a certain way and they\u2019ve made up a story about you in their minds, it\u2019s not up to you to change that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But when pressed again if she\u2019s worried about her products going against other brands, she got a bit sassy, saying:<\/p>\n

That\u2019s gotta be shade, right? Sure, she didn\u2019t mention the Who Says<\/em> singer\u2019s name, but that was definitely implied by the reporter\u2019s line of questioning, you know? Hailey knew what she was doing!<\/p>\n

Also, we can\u2019t help but laugh at how ironic this is. As you\u2019ll recall, the mother of one has been called out in the past for taking way too much inspiration from the actress to win over JB! Her actions were exposed in a 7-part TikTok<\/strong> video series<\/a> detailing how she\u2019d seemingly stalked and copied Selena in her pursuit of the Baby<\/em> artist. Even more recently, Hailey has been accused of copying one of Selena\u2019s speeches!<\/p>\n

There have been so many pieces of evidence to back up this conspiracy theory, so the fact she went out of her way to stress she isn\u2019t \u201cinspired by\u201d her husband\u2019s ex-girlfriend feels very purposeful! Just when it looks like they might be past this drama, they fall right back into it! No wonder fans won\u2019t let them move on from it. Hah!<\/p>\n
