\n\tNikki Glaser and Judd Apatow are reuniting with Universal Pictures for a new romantic comedy feature.<\/p>\n

\n\tGlaser is set to co-write, produce and star in the untitled project that counts Apatow as a producer. The film is said to be a modern, edgy rom-com, although plot details have not been disclosed. A director is not yet attached. <\/p>\n

\n\tEmmy-nominated writer Sean O\u2019Connor is penning the script<\/a> with Glaser. O\u2019Connor was a writer on the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, which saw Glaser become the awards ceremony\u2019s first solo female host earlier this year. <\/p>\n

\n\tApatow and Josh Church are set to produce the project through Apatow Productions\u2019 overall deal with Universal. Glaser will also produce the movie that Universal senior executive vp of production development Erik Baiers will oversee for the studio.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tGlaser had a supporting role in Apatow\u2019s directorial effort Trainwreck<\/em>, which starred Amy Schumer and hit theaters in 2015 from Universal. <\/p>\n

\n\tAmong his forthcoming projects, Apatow is set to direct a film that he is co-writing with Glen Powell and that will see the actor starring as a country western singer in free fall. Apatow is also currently in production on a two-part HBO documentary about Mel Brooks that he is producing and co-directing with Michael Bonfiglio. His previous films as a director include The 40-Year-Old Virgin<\/em>, Knocked Up <\/em>and The King of Staten Island<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tGlaser is a comedia<\/a>n, actress and podcast host who earned widespread praise for hosting this year\u2019s Golden Globes, and she is set to return as host in 2026. She is set to co-write, produce and star in Paramount Pictures\u2019 comedy that is based on the childhood game<\/a> MASH.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe is represented by UTA, Brillstein and Ginsburg Daniels. Apatow is repped by WME, Mosaic and Ziffren Brittenham. O\u2019Connor is repped by CAA, Mosaic and Felker Toczek.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
