A new IMAX visual has been unveiled for the upcoming <\/span>Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution<\/span><\/i> compilation anime<\/a> film, which will be <\/span>screened in Japanese IMAX theaters<\/span> in addition to regular theater showings. The compilation film will begin screening in Japan on November 7, 2025, while GKIDS will begin screening it in North America starting December 5, 2025.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Crunchyroll and Sony announced plans to screen the compilation anime film in \u201c<\/span>select international regions<\/span>\u201d this past October. The company stated that it will premiere the compilation in the U.K. and Ireland on November 14, 2025. It will also be released in other regions in EMEA, Latin America, and APAC.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution<\/span><\/i> is a compilation of <\/span>Jujutsu Kaisen<\/span><\/i> Season 2\u2019s \u201cShibuya Incident Arc\u201d and the first two episodes of <\/span>Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game<\/a> Part 1<\/span><\/i>, before it premieres in Japan in January 2026. It is also known in Japan as (<\/span>Gekijouban Jujutsu Kaisen \u201cShibuya Jihen Tokubetsu Henshuban\u201d x \u201cShimetsu Kaiyu Senko Joei<\/span><\/i>.\u201d)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jujutsu Kaisen<\/span><\/i>\u2019s third season staff includes <\/span>Shota Goshozono<\/b> (<\/span>Jujutsu Kaisen <\/span><\/i>Season 2 director) as director, <\/span>Hiroshi Seko<\/span><\/i> (since Season 1) as series<\/a> screenwriter and script<\/a>writer, <\/span>Yosuke Yajima<\/b> (new) and <\/span>Hiromi Niwa<\/b> (new) as character designers, <\/span>Yosuke Takada<\/b> (new) as assistant director, <\/span>Teppei Ito<\/b> (since Season 1) as compositing director, <\/span>Eiko Matsushima<\/b> (since Season 2) as color designer,<\/span> Junichi Higashi <\/b>(since <\/span>Jujutsu Kaisen 0<\/span><\/i>) as background art director, and <\/span>Yoshimasa Terui <\/b>(since Season 1, solo credit since Season 2) as music composer. <\/span>MAPPA <\/b>is in charge of the animation production.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The anime\u2019s first season and <\/span>Jujutsu Kaisen 0<\/span><\/i> were directed by <\/span>Sunghoo Park<\/b> (<\/span>God of High School, Ninja Kamui<\/span><\/i>), with Goshozono taking over as director afterwards.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    The first season of <\/span>Jujutsu Kaisen<\/span><\/i> aired from late 2020 to early 2021 for 24 episodes and was followed by the prequel movie <\/span>Jujutsu Kaisen 0<\/span><\/i> in December 2021. The second season was broadcasted from July to December 2023, with the latter \u201cShibuya Incident Arc\u201d airing a few weeks after the initial \u201cHidden Inventory Arc.\u201d Crunchyroll is currently streaming all the previous seasons and <\/span>Jujutsu Kaisen 0<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Jujutsu Kaisen<\/span><\/i> is based on the manga series by <\/span>Gege Akutami<\/b>, which was serialized in Shueisha\u2019s Weekly Shonen Jump from March 5, 2018 to September 30, 2024. A total of 30 tankobon volumes were released. A short spinoff sequel manga titled <\/span>Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo<\/span><\/i> was released in the same magazine on September 8, 2025, with Akutami serving as writer and <\/span>Yuji Iwasaki <\/b>as the artist.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    The four-chapter predecessor manga, now known as <\/span>Jujutsu Kaisen 0 <\/span><\/i>was released in 2017 and adapted into a 2021 anime film.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
