This Friday (September 18), Chicago band Whitney will take part in Goose Island<\/a>\u2019s 312 Around the Block Party, presented with Pitchfork. The group will play a series of short sets on a flatbed truck, which will travel<\/a> to various unannounced locations around the city. The event kicks off in the early evening. Updates from the event will be available on Goose Island<\/a> and Pitchfork Music Festival<\/a>\u2019s Instagram accounts.<\/p>\n

Chicago-based brewery Goose Island are facilitating Whitney\u2019s traveling performances in lieu of their annual 312 Block Party, which will not take place this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

Last month, Whitney released a covers album titled Candid<\/em>. Their most recent studio LP was 2019\u2019s Forever Turned Around<\/em>.<\/p>\n
