It is now available for multi-location restaurants, not just single-location restaurants.<\/p>\n<p>The What\u2019s happening feature launched back in May as a way for some businesses to highlight events, deals, and specials prominently at the top of your Google Business Profile. Now, Google is bringing it to more countries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What Google said. <\/strong>Google\u2019s Lisa Landsman <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/4me9xtbv\/\">wrote<\/a> on LinkedIn:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>How do you promote your \u201cTaco Tuesday\u201d in Toledo and your \u201cHappy Hour\u201d in Houston\u2026 right when locals are searching for a place to go?<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m excited to share that the Google Business Profile feature highlighting what\u2019s happening at your business, such as timely events, specials and deals, has now rolled out for multi-location restaurants &amp; bars across the US, UK, CA, AU &amp; NZ! (It was previously only available for single-location restaurants)<\/p>\n<p>This is a great option for driving real-time foot traffic. It automatically surfaces the unique specials, live music, or events you\u2019re already promoting at a specific location, catching customers at the exact moment they\u2019re deciding where to eat or grab a cocktail.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>What it looks like<\/strong>. Google said it hopes to expand to more categories soon. It is also only available in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p>The initial launch was for single-location Food and Drink businesses in the U.S., UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. It is now available for multi-location restaurants, not just single-location restaurants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why we care. <\/strong>If you manage restaurants and\/or bars, this may be a new way to get more attention and visitors to your business from Google Search.
