\n\tLuke Evans will lead the Broadway revival of The Rocky Horror Show<\/em> this season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tEvans, who app<\/a>eared as Gaston in Disney\u2019s live action Beauty and the Beast<\/em>, will make his Broadway debut in the production as Frank-N-Furter. The musical is set to begin previews March 26, 2026 at Studio 54, ahead of an April 23 opening. Additional cast members will be announced at a later date.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tSam Pinkleton, the Tony Award-winning director of Oh Mary!<\/em>, will direct.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tEvans began his career in London stage productions of Rent<\/em>, Miss Saigon<\/em> and Piaf<\/em> before moving into film roles such as The Clash of the Titans, The Hobbit<\/em>, Fast & Furious 6, Dracula Untold<\/em> and in TV series<\/a> such as Nine Perfect Strangers.<\/em> He has released two studio albums.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m giddy to crack this untamable classic open with the razor-sharp Luke Evans at the center. And I hope to do at Studio 54 what The Rocky Horror Show <\/em>has done for people around the world for decades \u2013 open a dimension to another possible reality. It seriously is the honor of a lifetime to bring the freakiest people I\u2019ve ever met into the freakiest theatre I\u2019ve ever been in to revisit the freakiest show there\u2019s ever been,\u201d Pinkleton said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tRichard O\u2019Brien\u2019s The Rocky Horror Show <\/em>has been in continuous production throughout the world for the last 52 years. The show originally opened at the Royal Court Theatre in 1973, while the film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show <\/em>premiered a few years later in 1975. Tim Curry famously played the role of Frank-N-Furter in the film. Two previous productions ran on Broadway in 2000 and 1975.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis production will feature choreography by Ani Taj (Dead Outlaw, Untitled DanceShowPartyThing <\/em>w\/Sam Pinkleton), music direction and orchestrations by Kris Kukul (Beetlejuice, All In: Comedy About Love)<\/em>, set design by dots (Appropriate, Oh, Mary!), <\/em>costume design by David I. Reynoso (Water for Elephants, Sleep No More<\/em>), lighting design by Jane Cox (Appropriate, Macbeth<\/em>), sound design by Brian Ronan (Beautiful, The Great Gatsby<\/em>) and hair & makeup design by Alberto \u201cAlbee\u201d Alvarado (The Outsiders, Sumo<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\n\tThis production is part of Roundabout Theatre Company\u2019s 2025-2026 season which also includes the Broadway production of No\u00ebl Coward\u2019s Fallen Angels<\/em>, starring Rose Byrne and Kelli O\u2019Hara, directed by Scott Ellis. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
