The upcoming MARRIAGETOXIN<\/em> TV anime<\/a> adaptation will make its debut in April 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

As previously known, it will be broadcast in Kansai Television\u2019s new Kaanival 11 slot, which launches in January with Tune In to the Midnight Heart<\/em>. The<\/em>\u00a0Ghost in the Shell <\/em>and Super Psychic Policeman Chojo <\/em>are other upcoming shows that will be featured in the slot.<\/span><\/p>\n

MARRIAGETOXIN<\/em> is based on the manga by Joumyakyu<\/strong>\u00a0(story) and\u00a0Mizuki Yoda<\/strong> (art). One protagonist, Hikaru, is an assassin and the heir to the Poison Masters Clan, and though he\u2019s not looking for marriage and love, he commits to finding a bride to prevent his sister from being forced to produce the next heir. One of his targets is Mei, a marriage swindler who, in a twist of events, ends up working with Hikaru to help him get a bride.<\/span><\/p>\n

The manga began in Shueisha\u2019s Shonen Jump + in 2022 and has 15 volumes as of October 2025. It placed 8th in the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taisho 2022\u2019s web category. Manga Plus has it in English.<\/span><\/p>\n
