\n\tSeth Rogen has been having to make some tough decisions.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe star and co-creator of the Emmy-winning series<\/a> The Studio<\/em> recently told GQ <\/a><\/em>that he had to \u201cturn down\u201d some of his favorite directors who have asked for cameos in the show\u2019s second season.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt does feel like I\u2019m running a fake movie studio at times,\u201d Rogen admitted. \u201cI\u2019m having directors\u2019 agents call me to pitch their clients to be the directors of fake movies on our show, which is very weird and very meta. And I\u2019m having to actually turn down directors I\u2019m a big fan of because the movie, the fake movie, maybe isn\u2019t quite right for the fake package we have in our heads. So yeah, it\u2019s gotten very strange.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Studio<\/em>\u2018s debut season, which ended up being a critically acclaimed success, featured quite a few famous guest stars. The series centered on a fictional Hollywood movie studio, Continental Studios, working to survive in a world where it is increasingly difficult for art and business to live together. Rogen stars as Matt Remick, a movie executive who gets promoted to president of the studio.<\/p>\n

\n\tThough season one was packed with some iconic cameos, the Platonic<\/em> actor still had plenty of people decline to make an app<\/a>earance. However, some have since regretted that decision.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI had a few people come up to me at the Emmys saying they regret it, which was very meaningful to me,\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s all I want \u2014 for people to regret not working with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to all the cameos, Rogen has previously admitted that some of the characters and episodes in The Studio<\/em> have been inspired by real Hollywood people or situations.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYes, I\u2019ve been yelled at three times in the last week,\u201d the Good Fortune <\/em>star told Stephen Colbert earlier this year when asked about how people reacted when they eventually realized it was based on them. \u201cSome of them are pleased, some of them are not pleased, I will say.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
