\u201cBe cautious when you see a widespread consensus forming about a specific price bottom,\u201d Santiment said<\/a> in a report on Saturday, adding that \u201ctrue bottoms often form when the majority expects prices to fall further.\u201d<\/p>\n

Santiment said that this has recently emerged as a trending topic on social media<\/a> after Bitcoin (BTC<\/a>) briefly fell below $95,000 on Friday amid a wider technology<\/a> stock decline. \u201cThis suggests many traders believe the worst is over,\u201d Santiment said, arguing that historically such sentiment is often followed by further downside.<\/p>\n
