You\u2019ve likely done them all.<\/p>\n<p>So what about the lesser-known approaches? The methods that few marketers think to use but should?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s what we\u2019re going to cover here.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re ready to tap into your creativity and squeeze even more value from your content, read on.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"enable-pinterest-rich-pins-with-tailwind\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Enable_Pinterest_Rich_Pins_with_Tailwind\"><\/span>1. Enable Pinterest Rich Pins with Tailwind<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The idea of enabling Rich Pins for Pinterest always surprises me because few know about it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps that\u2019s because the strategy originated in the blogging world, which doesn\u2019t often intersect with B2B marketing circles.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In any case, it\u2019s gold for content repurposing.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/help.pinterest.com\/en\/business\/article\/rich-pins\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rich Pins<\/a> automatically sync metadata from your website to your pinned content.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When you enable them, Pinterest pulls details like page titles, prices, author names, and ingredients directly from your pages through Open Graph or Schema markup.<\/p>\n<p>This enriches your Pins visually and contextually, improving their visibility in Pinterest. And Pinterest is a massive search engine with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/business.pinterest.com\/en-gb\/audience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more than 587 million monthly users<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>First, you\u2019ll need to enable Rich Pins on your website. To do that, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sign up for a Business Pinterest account.<\/li>\n<li>During the setup, be sure to claim your website in Pinterest settings (this verifies you own it).<\/li>\n<li>Make sure your blog articles have optimized metadata. Use Open Graph or Schema.org to \u201ctag\u201d the elements on your pages (article, product, or recipe). Make sure all titles, descriptions, and other details are accurate and up to date.<\/li>\n<li>Next, validate your Pin. Go to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/developers.pinterest.com\/docs\/web-features\/rich-pins-overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pinterest\u2019s Rich Pin Validator<\/a>, enter a URL from your site, and click Validate. Apply for approval (if prompted).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Any new or existing Pins that link to your site will automatically show Rich Pin info. Note that Pinterest may take a little time to sync and display the extra details.<\/p>\n<p>Now, enabling Rich Pins alone is not a repurposing technique. You\u2019ll need to actually post and re-share your Pins. This is where Tailwind comes in.<\/p>\n<p>Tailwind is an app that shares your Rich Pins to other users\u2019 collections, called boards.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This essentially pushes your Pins out to more users. Utilize audience-specific repurposing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Most content marketers know to repurpose content in different formats across channels:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Images for social.<\/li>\n<li>Videos for YouTube.<\/li>\n<li>And so on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fewer think to segment content by audience type, which means we often miss highly targeted opportunities to adapt what we already have to different user interests.<\/p>\n<p>Take a high-performing blog article like \u201c10 best social media marketing tactics for 2025.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s strong, current, and performs well across channels.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But the title is broad. It doesn\u2019t specify who the tactics are for or address industry-specific use cases.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a result, a business owner looking for niche advice might scroll past it.<\/p>\n<p>Consider doing this content repurposing approach:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>List the audience types you want to reach. If you run a marketing agency, that might include lawyers, hairstylists, restaurant owners, and other business owners who might need your services.<\/li>\n<li>Validate interest in audience-specific topics using an SEO tool like Semrush to check search volume for terms such as \u201csocial media strategies for lawyers\u201d or \u201csocial media strategist for stylists.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>This isn\u2019t just about SEO. You\u2019re confirming there\u2019s some audience demand. Even without SEO as the goal, tailoring the content will increase clicks on social, email, and other channels.<\/li>\n<li>Rewrite your existing article by updating the title to call out the audience and adjusting examples, stats, or recommendations to make them relevant to that group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You\u2019ll end up with tailored versions such as:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>10 best social media marketing tactics for lawyers [2025 guide]<\/li>\n<li>10 best social media marketing tactics for stylists [2025 guide]<\/li>\n<li>10 best social media marketing tactics for restaurants [2025 guide]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Then promote each version where that audience spends time, such as LinkedIn groups, Facebook communities, email lists, or niche <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>letters.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re doing this for SEO, ensure each version is rewritten enough to avoid duplicate content issues and is hyper-specific to the target keyword.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If your main goal is engagement from social or email, light customization works.<br \/>With a few tweaks, one strong article can become a full <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> that speaks directly to every audience you serve.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Optimizing titles this way can increase CTR by <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.getpassionfruit.com\/blog\/how-to-optimize-title-tags-for-maximum-click-through-rates?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">20%-50%<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"launch-mini-courses\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Launch_mini_courses\"><\/span>3. Launch mini courses<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When we talk about content repurposing, we usually focus on visibility \u2013 impressions, shares, and clicks.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We talk less about turning that content into new revenue streams.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We all want more clients and sales, but your existing content may be able to make money in other ways.<\/p>\n<p>Coursera came onto my radar through a promotional email.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d purchased courses there before but hadn\u2019t considered creating one myself.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Coursera is designed to help creators earn from their courses, and you don\u2019t need to build something from scratch.<\/p>\n<p>You can repurpose what you already have into a paid educational product.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how to use courses to make more money with your content:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify existing blog posts or ebooks that already teach a process (e.g., \u201cHow to Manage Online Reviews\u201d or \u201cSEO Basics for Small Businesses\u201d). Alternatively, look for old slide decks or a series of YouTube videos that could be compiled into a course.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Try to pick a topic that gets consistent traffic or questions. These make for the most enticing courses.<\/li>\n<li>Come up with a title for your course based on the suggested outcome. If the blog article is, \u201cHow to Respond to Negative Google Reviews\u201d, a compelling course title could be something like, \u201cReputation Management 101: How to Master Your Online Reputation to Win New Customers\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Next, group your content into course modules. Try to organize it logically, like so:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Introduction<\/strong>: You can pull this from most blog introductions.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Core lessons<\/strong>: Turn your in-depth articles into lesson scripts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Case studies<\/strong>: Use real client stories (anonymized).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Templates or tools<\/strong>: Reuse checklists, worksheets, or swipe files.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Action steps<\/strong>: Build simple quizzes or \u201capply this now\u201d prompts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If there are gaps in your course, you can fill them in by recording an intro and outro, adding a voiceover, or adding a few slides.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These courses do not need to be long by any means.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A short course could be under 30 minutes long and cost $10. If you have a lot of existing content to use, it can take several hours and cost more. Use whatever you have.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Each lesson should focus on one key idea and stay under 10 minutes. Display UGC in local ads<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>User-generated content (UGC) gives your brand strong social proof, yet most marketers limit it to digital content and ads.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>UGC can also shine in local advertising \u2013 bus ads, billboards, event signage, and in-store displays.<\/p>\n<p>If a brand has a local presence and invests in these formats, UGC belongs there. It makes the brand feel more human and trusted.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few examples:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Transit ads<\/strong>: Feature customer photos and quotes on buses or bus shelters (e.g., \u201c\u2018Best coffee in town.\u2019 \u2013 @localjavafan\u201d).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Billboards<\/strong>: Highlight user Instagram posts and testimonials with short captions on billboards (e.g., \u201cLoved by locals like @foodiejenna.\u201d).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Event signage<\/strong>: Display customer photos and reviews at trade shows or community events.<\/li>\n<li><strong>In-store displays<\/strong>: Use printed UGC (e.g., selfies, testimonials, or star reviews) near checkout or product shelves.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Posters and flyers<\/strong>: Add customer quotes or photos in local handouts and window ads.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A smart approach is to align local ads with your digital campaigns.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For example, if you\u2019re running Meta ads promoting a new cafe location, mirror those visuals and quotes in nearby posters so customers recognize the brand both online and around town.<\/p>\n<p>I also encourage clients to maintain a UGC archive in Google Drive.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We repurpose this content across blog posts, ads, emails, and local campaigns, building credibility and reinforcing social proof again and again.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Dig deeper: Social and UGC: The trust engines powering search everywhere<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"grant-access-to-exclusive-swipe-files\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Grant_access_to_exclusive_swipe_files\"><\/span>5. Grant access to exclusive swipe files<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Don\u2019t be afraid to give away the \u201csecret sauce\u201d \u2013 especially when the sauce can drive clicks.<\/p>\n<p>I would bet that your brand or client is sitting on a treasure trove of \u201cinternal\u201d content, like:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SOPs.<\/li>\n<li>Templates.<\/li>\n<li>Sales scripts.<\/li>\n<li>And so on.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most of this content doesn\u2019t see the light of day unless used during new employee training.<\/p>\n<p>Repurposing this content into public-facing swipe files instantly transforms your internal knowledge into shareable content assets (or even lead magnets).<\/p>\n<p>Dig through your Drive and see what you\u2019ve got.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Look for templates, scripts, or SOPs that simplify a process for your audience\/customer base.<\/li>\n<li>S<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a> out client names, private data, or competitive info. Keep only the structure or logic.<\/li>\n<li>Turn the material into downloadable PDFs, Google Docs, Notion templates, or Canva templates.<\/li>\n<li>Gate or ungate it. You can offer your swipe file as a free lead magnet to capture emails, or make it ungated for pure thought leadership and shareability.<\/li>\n<li>Share it across your channels. ChatGPT to FAQ pipeline<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>LLMs like ChatGPT and Notebook LM are great tools for content marketing, but they\u2019re most often used for content creation, rewriting, and similar tasks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve found them especially useful for building a \u201cknowledge base\u201d that consolidates a brand\u2019s existing materials into content customers can actually use.<\/p>\n<p>I have an arborist client that offers emergency tree removal services.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Their site is full of content \u2013 blog articles and service pages \u2013 but it\u2019s a lot for customers to sift through.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The brand noticed people were asking the same questions repeatedly, and answering them became time-consuming.<\/p>\n<p>We could have brainstormed FAQs or asked ChatGPT to generate ideas, but we didn\u2019t.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Instead, I created a knowledge base in Notebook LM, uploaded copies of their service pages, and prompted it to crawl the blog.<\/p>\n<p>Once everything was consolidated, I asked Notebook LM to generate FAQs and answer them accurately based on the site\u2019s existing content.<\/p>\n<p>The result was a concise, accurate, fully sourced FAQ set that:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Focused on the most relevant questions for prospective clients.<\/li>\n<li>Matched the brand\u2019s existing messaging.<\/li>\n<li>Linked directly to the original blog posts or service pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We published it as a central FAQ page, featured prominently and cross-linked throughout the site.<\/p>\n<p>The outcome was simple but effective: customers now had one destination for their most common questions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>By reformatting what already existed, the brand extended the lifespan and usefulness of its content, turning it into a practical self-service tool.<\/p>\n<p>It also created a fully \u201cfed\u201d knowledge base we now use to fact-check new content, ensure consistent messaging, and identify existing material worth linking to.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"reuse-recycle-revive\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Reuse_recycle_revive\"><\/span>Reuse, recycle, revive<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>We can all appreciate finding new, economical ways to repurpose existing content.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Some of these strategies are highly effective but don\u2019t get the airtime they deserve.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m glad to share them, as they\u2019ve delivered meaningful results for my clients and cost almost nothing to implement.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for unique ways to repurpose your content, give a few of these strategies a try.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
